Balingen-Engstlatt - Mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit war glühende Asche die Ursache für den Brand am Dienstag in der Selhofstraße. Davon geht die Polizei nach dem Ergebnis der bisherigen Ermittlungen aus.
Eine an ein Wohnhaus angebaute Scheune war in Engstlatt in Brand geraten. Das Feuer griff auf das Haus über und richtete einen hohen Sachschaden an.
Laut Polizei spricht vieles dafür, dass entsorgte Asche aus einem Holzvergaserofen den Brand verursachte.
